LIABILITY
If you have arranged to have a door or window fitted by us and your current is fitted with an electronic alarm system, door bell, telecoms cabling or any other cable system electronic or telecoms, please make arrangements to have any of the former removed prior to the installation of your new door by us as well cannot take responsibility.
During the process of installing doors and windows, we have to from time to time make amendments to plasterwork, internal finishing’s etc, In the event of rectifying these issues, we will not be liable for any decoration or painting of any kind.
If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or if the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless we are notified in writing to customer services within 72 hours of delivery of the goods in question.
Lead-time of your Supply Only door delivery is around three to four weeks and all goods will be delivered on a date arranged with you. Lead times may change and we are not liable for any costs incurred by you due to longer delivery times.
To reduce the cost of delivery of goods, we only instruct a one-man delivery team, so with health and safety in mind, the delivery driver will not be responsible for carrying your door (as a result of its weight) upstairs, up to flats, where there are stairs etc. You must organise for your door to be taken under any of these circumstances.
After notifying us of faulty or damaged goods or non-delivery or shortage of goods our only obligation will be to either:
- Make up for any shortage or non-delivery.
- Replace any faulty or damaged goods after returns have been inspected.
- Refund amount paid by you for goods in question.
We will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) which may arise out of any problem you notify to us under this condition, and we will not be held liable to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
No part of these Terms and Conditions is intended to limit any rights you may have as a consumer or other statutory rights that may be not be excluded, nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.
ORDERS AND CONFIRMATION
The placing of an order and entering into an agreement by the customer is conditional on the customer being over 18 years of age. Quotations by the company shall not constitute offers by the company to supply goods. Supply only orders placed will not be binding until accepted and confirmed by us by electronic mail, through the automated online system, or when a charge has been made against the customer’s card and their order despatched.
If we decline to supply goods ordered and payment has been debited from your credit or debit card, we shall credit your credit or debit card with the price of the goods within 2 working days of declining your order. We shall not be obliged to offer any compensation for any disappointment suffered.
If for any reason we are unable to supply a particular item, we will contact you by e-mail or telephone as soon as possible. You will be advised when goods will become available or you will have the choice of ordering replacement goods and be advised of the cost or be offered a full refund.
All prices listed on our website are accurate and final at the time of ordering. we require a 10% deposit before orders are placed.
All prices, products and special offers are subject to availability and may change before you place your order, but not after.
PAYMENT TERMS
Fully fitted goods must be paid within 5 working days of the completed installation.
We require a 10% deposit before the order is placed. Payment can be made using any credit/debit cards listed, at the time of ordering. Supply only goods must be paid in full at the point of ordering.
DOOR ACCESSORIES
All final positioning of glass, handles, door knockers, door numbers, spyholes and other door accessories or door hardware, will be dictated solely by the company. Where measures are taken in gaining information by the customer in relation to the positioning of said items, the final position will be at the discretion of the company. The company will endeavour at all times to place said items as close to the customer’s requirements as and where possible, but slight variances in position may occur which the company will not be liable for.
CANCELLATION OF ORDER BY CUSTOMER
As all doors are made to the sizes provided by the customer, once the customer has submitted their order through the website or provided sizes by e-mail, they have no right to cancel once the order has been processed by us.
Orders that are cancelled by the company will be without charge.
CANCELLATION OF ORDER BY US
We reserve the right to cancel any orders received or offer an alternative if goods are permanently out of stock.
You will be notified of cancellation by telephone or e-mail as soon after your order is placed as soon as possible and your credit/debit card will be credited with the full amount of your order including any delivery costs.
